Orlen’s Danuta Siedzikówna-Inka methane carrier stops at Świnoujście gas terminal for first time
The LNG carrier Danuta Siedzikówna-Inka made its first call at Poland’s Świnoujście terminal, becoming the sixth vessel from Orlen’s contracted LNG fleet to visit the facility. Built in South Korea in 2026, the ship can deliver about 110 mln cubic meters of gas after regasification. Its latest cargo came from the US, which remains Poland’s dominant LNG supplier after Qatari deliveries were disrupted by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Świnoujście, together with the Baltic Pipe, remains one of Poland’s two main gas import routes.
The latest shipment marked the terminal’s 465th LNG delivery and its 54th this year. Two vessels from Orlen’s eight-ship fleet have yet to visit Poland.
