Padel building commercial real estate success
PadelCity plans an aggressive expansion in Poland, targeting major cities and surrounding suburban areas while integrating padel clubs into shopping centers, retail parks and potentially office developments. Following the launch of its first Polish club at Westfield Arkadia in Warsaw, the company will open new locations in Kraków’s Galeria Kazimierz this summer, Galeria Echo in Kielce and a dedicated sports center in Katowice. CEO Piotr Łagowski sees strong potential in retail parks, arguing that combining sports, dining and shopping creates convenient lifestyle destinations that drive customer traffic.
The company aims to have at least seven signed locations by year-end. While warehouse properties currently offer the easiest technical fit, Łagowski believes padel will eventually become part of office developments, with PadelCity hoping to pioneer the concept in Poland.
