PM met with the head of the European Commission in Brussels

The meeting of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, was devoted primarily to the European Green Deal and its implementation. However, the talks also concerned the rule of law.
"Good meeting with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki tonight on key European issues: next steps in achieving our common climate goals and tomorrow's proposals, green taxonomy, the Reconstruction Fund, and the rule of law," Ursula von der Leyen wrote on Twitter.
Identical topics of talks were also indicated by the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU.
“Prime Minister Morawiecki exchanged views with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. The EU's climate policy, the Reconstruction Fund, taxonomy, and efficient legislative procedures were among the topics of the discussion,” the post of this institution reads.
One of the Polish diplomats told TVN24 correspondent Maciej Sokołowski that "it was a very substantive summary of the last five months of climate consultations."
