Poland’s Baltic coast is becoming increasingly popular with Czech tourists, and the 2026 season could set a new record. In 2025, about 482,000 Czech visitors stayed in Polish accommodation, although the figures exclude many short-term rentals and day trips. Lower prices than in Croatia, improved highways, high service standards, and a milder climate are driving demand. Travel from Prague to the coast now takes just over six hours, almost half the time needed to reach the Adriatic.

Czech tourists also value wide beaches, good food, cycling, kayaking, and other active leisure options. Sopot is particularly popular and is sometimes described as the “Polish Monte Carlo.” Croatia remains the leading destination, but Poland is steadily closing the gap.
