Przemysław Wieczorek has been appointed president of PURO Hotels and CEO of Puro Hotell Holding, effective from the beginning of August. The management change comes as the Polish hotel chain prepares for its first international openings. Wieczorek, who has been involved with PURO since its launch, previously headed PURO Hotel Development and was responsible for investments, real estate and project financing. Over more than 15 years, he helped expand the brand from one hotel to eight properties in major Polish cities.

Co-founder Rune Askevold will become Global Head of Hospitality, while Hans Grønnestad joins the supervisory board. PURO plans to open in Budapest this year and Prague in 2027.
