Poles ready to spend between PLN 2,000 and 4,000 for holiday trips
According to Provident’s Barometer, 63.1% of Poles plan a holiday trip this season, most often for up to seven days. The most common holiday budget is PLN 2,001-4,000, chosen by 19.9% of respondents. Another 15.3% plan to spend PLN 1,001-2,000, while 14.2% expect costs of PLN 4,001-6,000. More than one fifth have not yet set a budget.
Most trips will be financed from savings, cited by 38.6% of respondents, while 24.3% will combine savings with current income and 21.8% will pay from current earnings. Only 1.5% plan to use a loan or credit card.
The most popular destinations are European countries, chosen by 27%, followed by the Polish seaside at 25.6% and the Polish mountains at 14.7%. Among those not traveling, lack of money is the main barrier.
