Poles Remain Wary of Cryptocurrency Investments Due to Fear of Fraud

Despite growing popularity, many Poles still hesitate to invest in cryptocurrencies. A recent survey reveals that nearly half of the non-investors cite fear of fraud as the main reason for avoiding cryptoassets.
Experts confirm that cybercrime is a real concern, but emphasize it affects the entire financial sector, not just cryptocurrencies. Media reports of extreme cases often fuel skepticism and misinformation.
One in three respondents admitted to not understanding how crypto works, highlighting a significant knowledge gap. Over 25 percent said they lack funds to invest, while others fear a drop in asset value.
According to analysts, these barriers underscore the need for broader financial education and clearer regulation. While the adoption of digital assets is rising in Poland, trust remains a key challenge for widespread participation.
