President Andrzej Duda is disappointed with Russia's reactions to the statement of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki presented in agreement with him and in the near future there will be no new official statements from the Polish side, Krzysztof Szczerski, the head of the cabinet of the President of the Republic of Poland, said.

The statement of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was related to the recent statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the genesis of the outbreak of World War II. “President Putin has lied about Poland many times. He always did it consciously. This usually happens when the authorities in Moscow feel international pressure related to their actions. And this pressure is not on the historical, but on the most modern geopolitical scene,” the statement of the head of the Polish government reads.

The head of the cabinet of the President of the Republic of Poland stressed that President Duda is disappointed with the Russian side's reaction to the statement. “Both the form of responses at the low diplomatic level and its content do not support the seriousness of the discussion and do not allow for its substantive continuation,” the presidential minister said.

The ambassador of Ukraine Andriy Deszczyca expressed his solidarity with Poland towards the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin on the reasons for the outbreak of World War II.
