President signs amendment to law which allows for apartment price transparency
Poland has amended its housing market rules to standardize how developers report apartment prices to the government’s dane.gov.pl system. President Karol Nawrocki signed the legislation on August 7, 2026. Developers will not have to disclose additional information, but they will be required to submit existing price data in a uniform format, making offers from different projects easier to compare and analyze. Since September 2025, developers have already been required to publish prices for homes, parking spaces and related premises, as well as subsequent price changes.
The amendment will take effect three months after publication, with detailed reporting rules to be set out in a separate regulation.
