Polish enterprises posted a net financial result of PLN 50.8 billion in the first quarter, according to GUS data reported by Bankier. Sales-related profit reached PLN 64.7 billion, up 22.9 percent year on year, indicating that revenue growth outpaced cost pressure in many companies. The result is important because Polish firms have spent recent years navigating wage inflation, energy volatility and uneven demand. Stronger profitability may help fund investment, support hiring and improve balance-sheet resilience, although results remain exposed to financing costs and external shocks.
