Q22, one of the most prestigious office buildings located in the center of Warsaw, at the end of 2020, the building was certified by the international research laboratory SGS, which carried out a security audit and procedures related to, among others, with Covid-19. The owner of Q22 is Invesco Real Estate European Fund (IREEF), and the manager is CBRE.
At the end of 2020, an independent, international testing laboratory SGS conducted a safety and cleanliness audit in the building in terms of implemented procedures, evaluation of protocols and cleaning agents used, and cleaning accuracy. What's more, in addition to sampling for bacteria and microorganisms, several samples were collected for Covid-19. The Q22 building has successfully passed all tests and cleanliness assessments. At the same time, in the next year, unannounced representatives of the laboratory will appear in the building several times in order to reassess and verify that the proper level of cleanliness is maintained.
“Q22 is one of the flagship projects in our real estate portfolio in Poland. We have been introducing a strategy of a conscious approach to ecological issues in our facilities from the very beginning of our presence in Poland. Using 100 percent energy from renewable sources is another and natural direction for us, which we intend to continue through activities aimed at reducing CO2 emissions. The safety of employees and customers of our facilities is equally important to us, which is why we decided to have a Q22 audit by an independent international testing laboratory SGS, which assessed both our procedures, the cleanliness of the facility itself, and the implemented security measures,” Anna Szelc, Asset Management Director Invesco Real Estate in Poland, said.
The Q22 office building is 155 meters high and has a leasable area of 53,000 sqm.
