Report: more than half of Polish companies believe outsourcing pays off
More than half of Polish companies say outsourcing is more attractive than it was five years ago, according to a survey of 1,119 businesses. The tasks they would most like to outsource are payroll (60.9%), recruitment (57.8%) and HR administration (57.7%). In practice, companies most often outsource cleaning, security and catering; IT and legal services are also common. Rising labor costs and social security contributions are the main driver, cited by 52.5% of respondents, followed by the need for specialized skills. Companies remain cautious about outsourcing processes tied to competitive advantage, customer data or business continuity.
The report distinguishes outsourcing, where a provider manages a process and is accountable for results, from staff leasing, where the client directs external specialists.
