Reynders praises Polish government in Warsaw

European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders visited Warsaw, where he met, among others, with the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General, Adam Bodnar. The Belgian did not spare words of praise for the government of Donald Tusk.
"We see that the new government is fully determined to rebuild the rule of law in Poland," he admitted, adding that the European Commission is very pleased with such an attitude.
"The fundamental values of the EU are very important to us, and we must remain committed to these values because that is what makes us Europeans," emphasized the EU Commissioner during a joint press conference with the Minister of Justice.
One of the elements of restoring the rule of law will be the separation of the functions of the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General, announced Bodnar.
