Elektrovnia Garbary is one of the most ambitious projects in ROBYG’s history. Where history drives the future

On a small island in the heart of Poznań, surrounded by the Warta and Cybina rivers, lies the former Garbary Power Plant – a modernist complex from 1929 that powered the city for decades. Once part of the Poznań Fortress fortification system, this area blends industrial heritage with a unique atmosphere. Today, it is being transformed into a vibrant new development – Elektrovnia Garbary.

The multi-stage project includes the construction of 12 modern apartment buildings and the revitalization of 4 historic structures, which will be adapted for commercial use.

The first building will offer 228 apartments ranging from 26 to 141 m², with terraces of up to 120 m², designed to combine functionality, luxury, and prestige, drawing inspiration from the site’s history.

This will be one of the largest privately funded infrastructure investments in Poznań’s history, worth approximately PLN 100 million.
