Rödl & Partner has significantly strengthened its position in the Polish legal market by acquiring a team of 30 employees, including 20 lawyers, from Hogan Lovells, which closed its Warsaw office at the end of 2024.

This move raises Rödl & Partner’s Polish team to 181 specialists, making it one of the largest law firms in Poland. The firm, known for its comprehensive consulting services in areas such as legal, tax, accounting, and cybersecurity, has been operating in Poland since 1992. It now aims to leverage the international expertise of Hogan Lovells’ team to enhance its service portfolio and expand its client base, including global and local businesses.

Managing Partner of Rödl & Partner Polska, Renata Kabas-Komorniczak, emphasized the strategic importance of this acquisition in improving service quality and creating new opportunities for employees. Former Hogan Lovells partner Andrzej Dębiec noted the synergy benefits, highlighting the integration of legal, tax, accounting, and business consulting under one roof.

Rödl & Partner’s expanded presence positions it among Poland's top legal players, competing with firms like CMS Cameron McKenna (226 lawyers) and Dentons (199 lawyers). This consolidation reflects growing demand for integrated, cross-disciplinary services in the legal market.
