Shopping center being built in Chorzów covering 5,500 sq m
Two retail and service buildings with a combined 5,500 sqm of space are under construction in central Chorzów, near the Museum of Metallurgy and Katowicka Street. The project, developed by Jaekel-Bud-Tech, will create a new shopping center designed as frontage buildings in line with city guidelines. The first stage is scheduled for completion in 2026, while the whole investment is expected to open in the second half of 2027.
The scheme also includes about 300 parking spaces, new walkways linking the tram stop with the museum, benches, small architecture and a new internal road layout. The project is intended to strengthen Chorzów’s retail offer and improve public space in this part of the city.
