Sierra Balmain won two top prizes at the CEE Retail Awards
Sierra Balmain received two CEE Retail Awards, a major retail industry competition in the CEE region. The company received the title of Asset Management Firm of the Year and Property Management Firm of the Year.
"Winning them two years in a row is a testament to our growth and the position we managed to achieve and cement in the business. We will not take it for granted, though. We are looking forward to the projects and challenges ahead, which will hopefully put us in the ranks to compete next year too,” said Aleksandra Mazzini, Chief Operating Officer, Sierra Balmain.
Sierra Balmain’s activities focus on Poland and the rest of Central and Eastern Europe, where it carries out projects on some of the most complex and demanding properties in various asset classes. The firm’s extensive experience with a wide range of shopping and entertainment centres has solidified its leading position in the industry.
Last year was particularly eventful for the company. It took over the management of three new shopping centers with a total GLA of 74,000 sq m, as well as the L-Cube logistics park in Rzeszów, with an area of 25,000 sq m. Given the current economic climate, energy optimisation is of paramount importance. Sierra Balmain managed to reduce electric energy consumption by 40% and heating gas consumption by 15% in properties managed by the company.
