On the 27th of March 2019 at 19:00 within The Westin Warsaw Hotel, the Smart City Grand Gala took place, during which awards were presented as part of the Smart City Competition.

Smart City Solution 2018 –
Asseco Data Systems S.A
Award
presented for: implementation of the Intelligent Bus Stop Monitoring System
being a subsystem of the innovative, zero-emission Local Railway Station in
Rzeszów. This system is the newest functional element of Asseco’s digital urban
platform, Metropolis.
Innovation of the Year 2018 – W.P.I.P.
Special
award presented for: creation of an innovative and functional architectural
project that has a very large impact on the health, development and education
of children.
Smart City up to 100
thousand residents 2018 – City of Świdnica
Award
presented for: using available innovations for the development of
infrastructure, improvement of air quality and life of residents in the field
of intelligent management of urban transport.

Award
presented for: the introduction of an innovative solution in the fight against

residents 2018 – City of Olsztyn

presented for: promoting the idea of smart city, new technologies in order to
improve the quality of life of residents and tourists.

presented for: development of new smart city technologies, preserving the
welfare of residents and tourists.
Person of the Year 2018 – Michał Zaleski, Mayor of the City of Toruń
