Stohid Technology has signed an investment agreement to acquire 70% of a company preparing facilities for production of RDX, a high explosive used in defense applications. The Polish technology group plans to invest up to PLN 9 million in the first pilot phase of the project.

The initial stage will finance design, construction and launch of a pilot production line with planned capacity of about 50 tons of RDX annually. Stohid says the phase is intended to validate the technology, confirm process stability and prepare data needed for a future full-scale industrial installation. The target company has not been named because of transaction-security considerations. Final closing of the 70% acquisition is scheduled no later than October 16, 2026. The investment expands Stohid’s strategy of building domestic capabilities in defense, security and dual-use technologies and reduces reliance on imported strategic materials.
