The total value of trading in ETP (Exchange Traded Products) products on the WSE, which includes ETFs and structured products, amounted to almost PLN 2 billion in the first half of 2020. The most popular among investors were structured products, the turnover of which reached over PLN 1.5 billion in PLN 223,000 transactions. It is worth noting that the turnover in these instruments throughout 2019 amounted to PLN 1.31 billion.

"Polish investors appreciate the fact that structured products listed on the WSE give exposure to assets that individual investors do not have direct access to (e.g. oil, gas, precious metals). To start investing in structures based on indices, shares or raw materials from markets foreign companies, it is enough to have a standard brokerage account. In recent years, new issuers of structured products have been actively joining the WSE, including those from among the largest in Europe," Izabela Olszewska, member of the WSE management board, said,
