Study: about 40% of companies say health, safety and well-being important for work environment
Health, safety and well-being are among the key elements of the workplace, cited by 47% of companies in Europe and 39% in Poland, according to an ISS report. Polish firms, however, place more emphasis on cost optimization and efficiency, with 69% naming these as top workplace priorities for the next 12 months, compared with 61% across Europe. Polish companies are also less likely to see the workplace as important for attracting and retaining employees, at 29% versus 41% in Europe.
Still, 88% of Polish firms say the workplace significantly affects organizational performance. Hybrid work and space use are much stronger drivers of workplace change in Poland than in Europe overall.
