The average Polish family wants to spend this year on average for Christmas presents, food, travel and meetings with relatives. PLN 1,521, or 5 percent more than a year ago, results from a 'Christmas 2019' study by Deloitte. As the authors of the study pointed out, this year's most anticipated gifts are cosmetics and perfumes, but in addition to fragrant gifts, we'll also give books and chocolates to loved ones.

In our country, spending on food will increase mainly.

“Respondents estimate that they will spend more on food by 7.8 percent compared to last year. In turn, spending on gifts will increase by 6.5 percent,” Michał Pieprzny from Deloitte pointed out.
