Supreme Court overrules resolution of KRS about NSA judge’s dismissal

On Thursday, the Labor Chamber of the Supreme Court overruled the resolution of the National Council of the Judiciary (KRS) regarding the dismissal of a judge of the Supreme Administrative Court (NSA) and dismissed the request of the president of the Disciplinary Chamber of the Supreme Court to refer the case to this Chamber. The request of KRS to adjourn the meeting was received a few minutes after signing the sentence, as Supreme Court's judge, Bohdan Bieniek, informed.
The judgment was issued in the first of three cases concerned by the ruling of the EU Court of Justice of November 19, 2019.
