Survey: 46.5% of Poles remain in contact with work during vacation
Vacations increasingly reveal work overload and prompt employees to reassess their jobs. A Devire survey by SW Research found that 46.5% of working Poles stay in contact with work during vacation, while only 39.5% fully disconnect. The main reasons are responsibility for teams and projects, fear of backlogs, lack of replacement, and contact from managers or coworkers. For many, time off becomes a turning point: 23.3% realize how tired or overloaded they are, and more than 56% reflect on their work situation.
After vacation, 45% take at least one step toward changing jobs, such as browsing offers, updating a CV or LinkedIn profile, or actively seeking new employment.
