A recent survey conducted by UCE Research and the BLIX Group reveals that nearly half of Poles are satisfied with their current earnings. According to the study, 47 percent of respondents express contentment with their income, a 4 percentage point increase compared to the previous year. This trend indicates a growing sense of financial comfort among Poles, despite economic challenges such as inflation.
For most respondents, the monthly net income considered "satisfactory" is around PLN 4,500. Interestingly, 15 percent of participants indicated they need between PLN 3,000-3,999, while 13 percent stated that earnings of PLN 5,000-5,999 would be ideal.
Economists attribute this rise in satisfaction to wage increases in various sectors and a relatively stable job market. However, some analysts caution that ongoing inflation could affect this positive sentiment, as rising costs of living may alter perceptions of adequate income soon.
