Synektik launches Ukraine operations
Warsaw-listed medical technology company Synektik has begun trading in Ukraine, establishing a local entity and a dedicated sales and service team — the country's first structured market entry by a Polish surgical-robotics firm. The move was made possible by an agreement signed in February 2026, and follows months of preparation including staff training carried out in Poland and the Czech Republic.
Over the next two years, Synektik plans to install approximately 20 da Vinci robotic surgery systems at Ukrainian hospitals. The da Vinci platform, distributed exclusively by Synektik in Poland and several neighbouring markets, is the world's leading minimally-invasive surgical robot. The Ukraine push comes as post-war reconstruction creates demand for modernised healthcare infrastructure and as Synektik looks to diversify revenue beyond its saturating home market.
