Szymon Hołownia elected new Sejm Speaker of the House

One of the coalition agreement clauses is confirmed: Szymon Hołownia is now the Marshal of the Sejm, with 265 votes in favor. His election was no surprise, as it was outlined in the coalition agreement. Hołownia pledged changes, including more time for parliamentary questions, removal of barriers around the Sejm, and increased media openness.
He vowed to end the Sejm's role as a government service point, ensuring independence and preventing it from being a platform for contempt or criminals. The Marshal of the Sejm also assumes the role of the President in specific circumstances, acting as the second person in the state.
