The average waiting time to sell a used car is 24 days - AAA Auto
The average waiting time for a used car sale is 24 days in 2023, compared to an average of 42 before the pandemic, according to an analysis by AAA Auto.
The fastest-selling cars on the secondary market are not the most popular ones, but the luxury models, such as Audi SQ7, BMW M8, Mercedes EQS, and Jaguar I-Pace. The waiting time depends on various factors including price, mileage, age, history, and technical condition of the car.
“Despite the smaller offer of cars on the secondary market, buyers have more than 200,000 available cars at their disposal. This is still a wide range, and buyers should pay special attention to the quality of the vehicles offered, "said Karolina Topolova, CEO and President of Aures Holdings, the operator of the international network of AAA Auto.
