The first debut on the WSE Main Market in 2022 took place
On Monday, the company BioMaxima – a Polish manufacturer of laboratory diagnostics, dealing with, inter alia, production of rapid antigen tests to detect SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, made its debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange Main Market. The company from Lublin has been listed on the NewConnect market since 2010.
BioMaxima primarily produces and sells microbiological media, as well as supplements, additives, and other components of microbiological media intended for industrial laboratories. In addition, it produces diffusion systems for the determination of drug sensitivity and resistance mechanisms of bacteria and fungi, as well as its diagnostic reagents for the study of biochemical parameters of blood and other body fluids.
Today's debutant is the 429th company listed on the WSE Main Market and at the same time the first company to appear on this trading floor this year.
“According to experts, the 21st century will be a century of biology, and innovative and ambitious companies developing this branch of science, such as today's rookie, can expect market success. Observing the development of BioMaxima over 12 years, I can confidently say that it has the potential to become one of the champions of the Polish economy. The debut on the Warsaw Stock Exchange – the largest and most significant in this part of Europe – is a milestone on the way to this goal,” Marek Dietl, President of the WSE Management Board, said.
