WARSAW, 22 July 2019 – This year is the 10^th anniversary of the Charity Real Estate Beach Volleyball Tournament organized by the international advisory agency, JLL. This important event on the real estate sector’s calendar will take place on August 1st in Warsaw. This year's edition has already broken a record - an all-time high of 60 teams will take part in the tournament. This year, the competitors will help raise money for “Na Ratunek Dzieciom z Chorobą Nowotworową” (The Rescuing Children with Cancer Foundation). The Polish Volleyball Federation has taken on honorary patronage of the event.

The Charity Real Estate Beach Volleyball Tournament:

For the past ten years, the tournament has attracted a wide range of leaders from the real estate industry - developers, advisory firms, construction companies, investment funds as well as law firms and banks. All funds raised from team registration fees, and an auction of items from sponsors and individual donations collected on the day, will be donated to “Na Ratunek Dzieciom z Chorobą Nowotworową” (The Rescuing Children with Cancer Foundation). The aim is to buy the most necessary medical equipment for children's cancer treatment. The equipment will be transferred to the Przylądek Nadziei (Cape of Hope) oncological clinic in Wrocław.

“This year, the tournament is special for us, because it is a jubilee event and I hope that on this occasion the whole sector will be ready to beat another charity record. However, the bar is set high. Last year, we collected a staggering 767,000 PLN, and over the past nine years - nearly PLN 2.3 million, which have been entirely donated to the beneficiaries of various foundations. Of course, we are keeping our fingers crossed so that this year we will be able to achieve even more. But most of all we are pleased that the format created by us, combining positive competition and a noble goal, is still extremely popular and attracts more and more people every year.
