Valeo revamping factory in Czechowice-Dziedzice to become center for group in Europe
French automotive supplier Valeo is upgrading its plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice, Poland, into a major European R&D center for electric and hybrid drive technologies. The site will take over knowledge and projects previously handled in other European locations and become one of Valeo’s key electromobility development hubs. The company plans to hire more than 100 highly qualified engineers, adding to its existing 200-person R&D team. New staff will work on high-voltage eAxle and eMotor drives, hydraulic pumps and smart actuators for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
Valeo also plans to use AI tools to speed up mechanical design and software development. The investment highlights Poland’s growing role as an advanced automotive engineering and technology center.
