Welfare Index falls in May due to rising prices of goods and services - BIEC
The Welfare Index, reflecting the economic condition of the Polish society, fell in May by 1 point, which is due to the rising prices of goods and services, the Bureau of Investment and Economic Cycles (BIEC) reported.
BIEC estimates that in the near future consumers will be increasingly more affected by the rising prices, mainly due to more expensive food and higher costs of transport services.
