Western Union launches digital banking app in Poland
Western Union has launched its Western Union Digital Banking app in Poland, one of the first markets to receive it, offering integrated electronic banking services and international money transfers. Users of the app will be able to open a multi-currency online account, make international money transfers without fees to other account holders, and will also have the option of a Visa debit card linked to the account.
The app is already available in Polish Google and App stores. Users can benefit from interest rates of 6% for Konta Premium account holders and 2% for Konta Standard account holders. Western Union International Bank, based in Vienna, Austria, operates the app, which is guaranteed by the Austrian deposit guarantee system.
