Wolt to launch virtual supermarket chain Wolt Market

Wolt will launch in Poland Wolt Market - a chain of independent virtual supermarkets, the company announced. The chain will offer over 1,000 products that will be delivered to customers in less than 30 minutes.
In the autumn, Wolt Market will also start its operations in the Czech Republic, Denmark and Hungary, the company stated.
"We have one of the world's best technologies, which our engineers are constantly improving. It allows us to compete with other players in terms of quality and delivery time of our services. This rich background, which is an excellent base for further development, prompted us to launch Wolt Market. We want our virtual supermarkets to be a revolutionary solution, setting the highest standards of customer service. Therefore, in addition to a rich assortment and guaranteed delivery time, we will ensure safe and appropriate packaging for this type of service" - said general manager of Wolt Polska Agata Polityło, quoted in a recent press release.
Wolt Market will operate exclusively as a dark store, which means that it will only process online orders placed through the Wolt application. The experience of the Wolt Market pilot stores in Finland and Greece confirms that this model guarantees fast order fulfillment while maintaining the highest quality of service, it was emphasized.
Wolt Market will be an independent company, managed by a dedicated team. Recruitment for the positions of general manager and members of senior management is currently underway. They will be responsible for the introduction and development of Wolt Market in Poland.
