The number of IPOs on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) could reach around 30 next year, in total on the main market and NewConnect, CEO Marek Dietl estimated. In his opinion, the reason for delisting is, among others large and cheap debt access for private equity funds.
“There are more and more large entities that are in dialogue with us. They would not invest time for meetings if they did not have the prospect of the debut,” Dietl stressed.
He added, that currently, low valuations are a limiting factor for IPOs. Valuation problems are not concerning only to retail and gaming companies.
