In March 2024, the highest impact on price growth came from higher prices of clothing and footwear, according to GUS. Clothing and footwear prices rose by 3.3%, while restaurants and hotels increased by 0.7%, and communication by 0.9%, collectively raising the consumer price index by 0.12 and 0.04 percentage points, respectively. Conversely, lower prices in recreation and culture (by 0.7%) and food (by 0.2%) decreased the index by 0.05 and 0.04 percentage points, respectively.
