The conference was opened by Artur Olech, Chairman of the Insurance Forum Advisory Board, CEO, HiPRO and Andrzej Kopyrski, Chairman of the Warsaw International Banking Summit Advisory Board. The inaugural block started with a speech from the Guest of Honor, Adam Glapiński, President of the National Bank of Poland. The debate focused on the rebuilding of the economy of Poland and other countries during the recession.

The topics of the next debates and substantive presentations were focused on the challenges of banks in the new reality, the perspective of capital market development, insurance distribution during the pandemic and trends in the digital transformation of banking and insurance.

The second day of the congress began with honoring the winners of the Banking and Insurance World Leaders Competition. Within 10 categories, those awarded included:

●      Paweł Borys, President of the Board, Polish Development Fund in the Finance Visionary category

●      PKO Bank Polski in the Best Bank category

●      BNP Paribas Bank Polska in the Most Friendly Bank category

●      UNIQA Polska in the Best Insurance Company category

●      Małgorzata Makulska, Vice-President of the Board (1995-2019), ERGO Hestia with a special prize from the Competition Jury

During the debates, experts also discussed topics such as payments in the new reality, changes in the product offer in the post-COVID era, perspectives before the group insurance market, changes in credit and loan policies and conclusions on health insurance during the pandemic.
