Participants of
the event are mainly young successors from business families. They come to
Poznan because they want to exchange their experiences with other participants
who, like them, face the succession and business challenge in their native
companies. "We know that only 8% of the successors want to take over the
family business from their parents. That is why during the NextG Congress
Polish successors hear stories of both successes and failures of their
generation in companies and beyond. They confront their ideas about taking over
the family business with the reality built by their parents or grandparents.
Young entrepreneurs here share their experiences and establish relationships
that often stay with them for many years. - says the President of the Family
Institute Dr. Adrianna Lewandowska, MBA.
This year's
edition of the NextG FUTURE of NEXTgen Congress focuses on a practical approach
to business and upcoming economic changes. Therefore, leading foreign experts
from the area of family businesses, including Susanne Bransgrove and Guillermo
Salazar, were invited to the lectures and discussions. Polish practitioners and
speakers will also be present; Zofia Dzik from the Humanites Institute, Dr.
Marta Widz, Roman Wieczorek, Szymon Trzebiatowski and Dr. Adrianna Lewandowska
from the Family Business Institute. So far, in the years 2016, 2017, 2018,
2019, a total of over 800 successors from companies such as Altom Design, Ania
Kruk, Dr. Irena Eris, Grail, Inglot, Kazar, Kupiec, Kross, Oceanic, Oknoplast,
Mitcar, Wojas, Wajnert Meble, ZPUE and Zbyszko took part in NextG.
The event will be
entirely hybrid - with the possibility of taking part in a stationary formula
for a limited number of participants (for safety reasons) and in two versions
of ONLINE - for all those who choose to participate remotely. Virtual entry to
the NextG Congress is a unique opportunity to personalize the agenda and adjust
it to your needs.
