Allegro opens office in Shenzhen
Polish e-commerce platform Allegro has opened an office in Shenzhen and established a wholly foreign-owned enterprise in China to strengthen direct cooperation with local sellers. The company said the move will help it verify partners more effectively, enforce product safety and compliance standards, and reduce reliance on intermediaries. Chinese merchants will remain subject to the same platform rules and European consumer protection requirements as other sellers. Allegro also expects its presence in Shenzhen, a major global e-commerce hub, to provide faster access to logistics and technology innovations that can be introduced across its Central European markets.
The company says the expansion is intended to strengthen its competitiveness against global e-commerce platforms while maintaining its European identity.
