Global producer and supplier of industrial automation and IT solutions, Rockwell Automation, has extended the lease agreement for warehouse and office space in Katowice. In the process of negotiating the new terms of the contract, the company was represented by CBRE, while the owner of the building – Aviva Investors – was advised by experts from the consulting company JLL.
Rockwell Automation has over a dozen factories around the world. It operates in over 100 countries, employing a total of about 23,000 people, and over 2,000 people work in Poland. The company has been present on the Polish market for over 20 years, and since 2007 it has been developing its production plant in Katowice.
“Poland is an important country for Rockwell Automation. We appreciate the potential and commitment of the Polish team. Katowice engineers play an important role in the development of our company's products, IT solutions, and services. We are satisfied with the current location in Katowice, which meets our expectations and the needs of the production of advanced technological systems for industry, which is why we decided to extend the cooperation agreement for the lease of this property,” Dawid Idzior, Member of the Management Board of Rockwell Automation in Poland, said.
Rockwell Automation headquarters at ul. Roździeńska 49 is a production building with an office and social part with a total area of ​​over 17,000 sqm. The Porcelana Śląska Park Industrial and Technological Park is nearby and the "Zawodzie" Transfer Center is being built.
The Silesian Rockwell Automation factory supplies industrial automation components to the European market – including Russia – as well as to Africa and Asia. The international giant, with revenues exceeding USD 6 billion annually, focuses on the development of its branches in Poland.
