Apartment sales in July confirm signs of economic improvement
Homebuyers purchased nearly 4,400 new apartments across Poland’s seven largest housing markets in July, the second-best monthly result of 2026. Sales were about 36% higher y/y, confirming improving market conditions. Despite stronger demand, prices remained stable because of abundant supply. The average price reached PLN 16,117 per square meter, up just 0.2% from June and 2.3% since the start of the year.
Sales more than doubled m/m in Poznań and rose nearly 50% in the Tricity and Katowice, while Warsaw and Kraków weakened. Nearly 70,000 new apartments remained available at the end of July, limiting developers’ ability to raise prices despite growing confidence in demand.
