April sees drop in apartment sales
According to Otodom, developers in Poland sold about 4,000 apartments in April 2026, down 22% month to month, but still nearly 30% higher than a year earlier.
At the same time, new supply increased, with 4,300 units launched, up both monthly and annually. Total available housing in major cities remained high at over 59,000 units, slightly above March levels.
Reservations reached a two year high at 6,700 units, indicating strong buyer interest despite slower sales. Developers are limiting new projects due to already large supply.
Demand conditions vary by city, with Warsaw standing out as the only market where sales exceed both new supply and current inventory.
