As many as 1,136 new cases of coronavirus reported - most since epidemic began
Laboratory tests confirmed coronavirus infection in another 1,136 people and this is the largest daily increase in infections since the beginning of the epidemic. Another 25 people aged 43-92 have died due to Covid-19, the Ministry of Health reported on Thursday.
All the deceased – as reported by MZ – had comorbidities.
Since March 4, when the first case of the coronavirus in Poland was confirmed, a total of 82,809 people were confirmed to be infected. 2,369 of infected died.
On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health informed about 974 new cases, on Tuesday – 711, on Monday – 748; on Sunday – 910, and on Saturday – 1,002.
