Author of loudest scandal of free Poland gets sentence of 6 years
The Warsaw District Court punished the former head of Art-B, Bogusław B. accused of money laundering. The amount involved is €2.7 million arising from a fraud committed to the detriment of a Swiss company. The judgment is not final.
The Court imposed Bogusław B. a six-year prison sentence and a fine of PLN 10,000. Co-accused Maciej W. was sentenced to four years in prison.
In relation to both, the court also held an obligation to repair the damage caused, which in the case of B. means a payment to the Swiss company of over €8,000, while in the case of W. – over €11 million.
