Bank Pocztowy unveils strategy to 2029: assets to reach PLN 28 billion, net profit to PLN 350 million by 2029
Bank Pocztowy has announced a new strategy for 2026–2029 focused on rapid expansion, stronger financial performance and deeper integration with the nationwide Poczta Polska network. After rebuilding its capital position, the Bank plans to enter a phase of accelerated growth, targeting a 2.6-fold increase in total assets to PLN 28 billion and a net profit of PLN 343 million by 2029. Strategic goals also include serving more than one million customers, achieving a net ROE above 15 percent and keeping non-performing loans below 5 percent.
A key pillar of the strategy is leveraging one of Poland’s largest physical networks. The sale of Bank Pocztowy’s financial products will be embedded across 4,700 Poczta Polska branches, including 900 specialized Financial Service Zones that will replace the Bank’s existing branch footprint. A major staff development program will prepare postal employees, including postal carriers, to promote and support financial services. This integration provides access to a potential customer base of nearly 30 million people.
The Bank will simultaneously modernize its technology infrastructure, investing in cloud solutions, AI and data analytics, while expanding digital channels such as its mobile app and online banking. The combined effect of wider distribution, scale benefits and lower operating costs is expected to underpin sustained profitability and position Bank Pocztowy as a central financial services provider within the Poczta Polska Group.
