Bird e-scooters fly back to Warsaw

Residents of and visitors to the Polish capital will be able to use Bird electric scooters again from March 5. The operator has returned to the city after a winter break.
Bird made its debut in Warsaw in April 2019. The company wants to help reduce car traffic in the city and battle the growing levels of air pollution.
In the first season, Bird e-scooters users traveled over 470,000 kilometers. If they had driven the same distance, nearly 120 tonnes of CO2 would have been emitted into the atmosphere.
