Budimex will build the fourth circle of Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz
Budimex has been selected as the contractor for the fourth circle of Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz. The project, which will cost almost PLN 95 million, is to be completed in less than 2.5 years, the City Hall announced.
Currently, the opera house consists of three interconnected circles. In the first circle, there is a large hall with an amphitheatrical auditorium for 803 seats, a chamber hall for 189 seats, the main hall, and the foyer. In the second circle, there are rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms, and offices, and the third circle is the Congress Centre.
The concept of building the fourth circle occurred when the opera house was designed more than 30 years ago but was abandoned back then due to a lack of funds. The new project will be financed in half by the city government and the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodship.
