"When we think about what is currently happening in the world, we look at Poland as a leader of change," Dan Brouillette, Sempra Infrastructure’s CEO said during the Gazterm conference in Międzyzdroje (West Pomerania).
PGNiG has reached an agreement on the possibility of signing a long-term contract for the supply of 3 million metric tonnes of LNG per year, or about 4.05 billion cubic meters of natural gas after regasification, from Sempra Infrastructure.
That company's CEO Dan Brouillette indicated that we are at a "turning point."
"We're all aware of what's contributing to this issue – still too inefficient renewables, huge demand and low resources – all driven by huge price increases, including in the face of Russia's invasion of Ukraine," Dan Brouillette said.
He stressed that "these are times that present enormous challenges," pointing out that Poland has faced challenges over the years. "From World War II through the communist period, Poland has always fought for freedom”.
Dan Brouillette served as the United States Secretary of Energy from 2019 to 2021.
