Construction of Nowy Wełnowiec to begin in the spring of 2027 in Katowice
Capital Park plans to begin construction of Nowy Wełnowiec, a mixed-use district in Katowice, in spring 2027, starting with three residential buildings. The project will cover more than 30 hectares and is expected to take about 10 years to complete. Later phases will add recreation areas and retail and dining venues modeled on Warsaw’s Norblin Factory, including a food hall, restaurants, a piano bar and an organic food market. The developer says green space and free public amenities will help attract nearby residents alongside the housing and commercial offerings.
The project is designed as a new urban district combining residential, leisure and commercial uses.
