Six consumer organizations from France, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Belgium and Spain reported to their national authorities about the practices used by online sales platform AliExpress.
BEUC, the European consumer organization, which includes domestic entities protecting the rights of buyers, informed on Friday that AliExpress uses problematic clauses in its terms of contracts with consumers in the European Union. In addition, they are very vague and posted in various parts of the website.
The AliExpress service belonging to the Chinese giant Alibaba is used by several million people in Poland.
